I am Ian Scott, owner of Mortgages for Homes. I give friendly, ethical and unbiased mortgage and protection advice you can trust. Unlike many mortgage brokers, I do not charge a broker’s fee for my services and I guarantee to find you the right mortgage deal to suit your circumstances.

I will be by your side from the beginning to the end of the process, and will always be available to answers your questions and concerns as I understand how daunting this process can be for clients.

Firstly, I will find out about you and your needs by undertaking an interview which will include a full assessment of your circumstances and completion of a fact find which will allow me to build a picture of your situation.

Once I have collated all of the required information, I will research the mortgage market and compare the different mortgage types and rates available to find the right mortgage deal to suit your individual circumstances. Once this has been obtained, I will then present to you my recommendations on all the relevant products and policies.

I will fully explain the recommended mortgage products to you in detail and once you are happy to proceed, I will do all the work to submit the application and complete the required paperwork.

I will make regular contact with the lender and your solicitor throughout the process and manage the case through to completion.

Once the process has completed, I will monitor your mortgage rate and contact you when your deal is coming to an end to allow us to find you the most suitable renewal rate.
